Of course, the safety of our customers and colleagues remains our highest priority so we have been working hard to welcome you back into store safely.
We’ve introduced new measures so you can enjoy a safe and comfortable shopping experience.
Social distance shopping
To ensure a safe shopping experience we ask that if you can, please shop alone. We will limit the number of customers in-store to 16 at any one time. Our staff may be wearing some PPE and please don’t be offended if they stick to the 2m distance guidance. Please only bring one other person from the same household if you need special assistance, or if you need to bring your children with you. We have reduced our opening times slightly to allow our fitters time to load up and be on their way before the store opens for customer service.
Extra cleaning and safety precautions
As you might expect we have fully sanitised the whole store before re-opening and we’ll be doing extra scrubbing, cleaning, and sterilising to make the whole store as safe as possible for you going forward.
We are closed for lunch between 1pm and 2pm Monday to Friday to allow for additional cleaning and sanitising of all areas.
We understand that you will want to touch our gorgeous carpets and flooring, so we do ask that you use our hand sanitising gel. Hand sanitising gel will be stationed throughout the store, as will new protective screens at key points such as our customer service desk and reception desks.
Cards not cash please
We will only accept cashless payments to reduce the amount of contact between you and our colleagues. We have also installed protective screens at key points across the store to provide extra protection to both staff and customers.
Social distance measuring, deliveries and fitting
To ensure a safe experience we have implemented new measures for visiting customers properties. Our estimating staff and fitters may be wearing some PPE and please don’t be offended if they stick to the 2m distance guidance while they measure in your property. If you require our fitters to wear a mask and visor, please let us know and we will accommodate this. We’re working with our fitting teams to ensure they can work safely, and are able to adhere to social distancing guidance in your homes. Before any appointment, they will call ahead and confirm that both they, you, and any members of the household are well, that social distancing is possible during the fit and both parties are comfortable to go ahead. You may be asked to vacate the room where the floor is being fitted, and open any internal doors along the journey to fitting as well as open windows where possible. Our teams will have hand sanitiser gel, disinfectant wipes and will wear any appropriate PPE during the appointment. To minimise the handling of cash, the fitters will offer you the ability to pay for your fitting via a bank transfer.
