Not directly. Floorboards naturally move and flex, which can cause LVT joints to fail. We prepare floorboard subfloors by installing a smooth layer of flooring-grade plywood first to create a perfectly rigid, flat surface.
It’s incredibly simple. Unlike real wood which requires specialist oils or sandings, herringbone LVT just needs a regular sweep and a damp mop with a mild floor cleaner. It won’t stain, fade, or discolor.
